Greece the most popular destination for summer 2021.
With the slogan “All you want is Greece”, the Minister of Tourism Haris Theocharis invited the international public to visit Greece this year for their vacation. This year and forever, “all you want is Greece”. “To bring a smile to your lips again, with the hope that you will take back your life, “all you want is Greece”, said the Greek minister, from the podium of the international tourism exhibition ITB 2021, which this year was held digitally.
In fact, Greece “aspires”, if the health data allow, to open the tourist gates by May 14, as the Greek minister said. Until then, Mr. Theocharis explained, the pilot opening will be considered, probably in early April, with EU countries, but also countries that have advanced vaccination, such as Israel. Mr. Theocharis stressed that all these plans will be implemented respecting the conditions of the pandemic.
Addressing to the potential visitors of the country, Mr. Theocharis pointed out that Greece is ready to welcome them with a complete protocol for the summer of 2021.
